Princess Anne Opens Wolds CollegeDecember 2nd 2008![]() ![]() ![]() After opening the college, The Princess was able to chat to students and lecturers in the motor vehicle workshop and the hair and beauty salons. She was also presented with a posy by Megan Quinney-Newland of St Bernard's Special School. The Wolds College offers a range of vocational courses in motor vehicle engineering and hair and beauty, as well as a number of general courses related to business such as management, team leading, food hygiene, ICT, and health and safety. The college aims to provide courses for young people aged 14-19, as well as for people in work who want to improve their skills. It also has conference facilities available for hire.
