	Louth's Big Freeze 28th December 2005 Snow came to Louth, bringing traffic chaos and picturesque scenes to the town. As the cold weather set in the Lud froze in places, and people took their sledges to the slopes of Westgate Fields, probably the best place to sledge in Louth.
